Cancel a Reservation Booked Through a Third Party

If your reservation was booked through a third-party platform, the cancellation process depends on where you originally booked. Follow the steps below for your platform.

Before you cancel: Please review your booking's cancellation policy to understand your refund eligibility. Once a cancellation is submitted, it cannot be reversed.

Blueground

Cancellations for Blueground bookings are handled directly by their support team via email.

  1. Review your cancellation policy to confirm your eligibility and any applicable fees.
  2. Send a cancellation request to Blueground at partners-support@theblueground.com. Include your name and reservation ID.
  3. Blueground will confirm the cancellation and any next steps by email.

Airbnb

You can cancel an Airbnb reservation directly from your Airbnb account.

  1. Review your cancellation policy to understand your refund eligibility before proceeding.
  2. Log in to your Airbnb account and go to Trips.
  3. Select the reservation you want to cancel.
  4. Under Reservation details, click Cancel reservation.
  5. Choose a reason for cancelling and click Cancel reservation to confirm.

Cancellations are final

Once your cancellation is submitted and processed, your booking will be officially cancelled — regardless of refund eligibility or any pending adjustments. Your reservation cannot be reinstated, and the unit will be made available to other guests.
