Do I sign a lease? What paperwork do I get for my stay?

You don't sign a traditional lease. When you book with Anyplace, you agree to our Guest Agreement, along with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

The Guest Agreement is a legally binding contract that governs your stay and covers the same ground a traditional rental contract would: dates, payment terms, house rules, and your rights and responsibilities as a guest. We don't issue a separate lease document.

Need documentation for your stay?

We can provide a booking confirmation letter on request. It confirms your booking dates, the property address, and your booking details.

To request one, email support@anyplace.com with your booking reference and let us know what the letter is for — that way we can make sure it includes what you need.

Please note: the letter can only list the name on the booking as the guest. We can't add names of additional occupants or third parties.

What we can't provide

  • A standalone lease or tenancy agreement
  • Utility bills in your name or other proof-of-residence documents
  • Letters of recommendation, guarantor letters, or any document certifying your creditworthiness.

If you're unsure whether a booking confirmation letter will satisfy a specific requirement, reach out before you book and we'll tell you what we can and can't document.
