Early Termination

If you depart before your agreed-upon check-out date, all fees are non-refundable, and you remain responsible for any outstanding rent or unpaid balances, which may be referred to collections. In some cases, submitting a Notice to Vacate (NTV) may help reduce your financial obligations:

Providing Notice

If you wish to end your stay early, you must submit a written Notice to Vacate (NTV) at least 30 days before your intended departure date. NTV requests must be submitted via email to reservation@anyplace.com to be considered valid.

Your Financial Obligations

Upon early departure, the following charges apply:

  • Rent: The next 30 nights following your notice date
  • Utility, insurance fees & listing-specific fees: Prorated through the end of the notice period. Some listings carry additional fees (for example, a monthly amenity fee), which are also prorated through the notice period.
  • Credit card processing fees: Non-refundable
  • One-time cleaning fee: Non-refundable
  • Taxes: Recalculated based on your actual length of stay if applicable
  • Length-of-stay (LOS) discount: If your stay ends before the initial length-of-stay commitment is met, any LOS discount you received will be cancelled and charged back for the actual term stayed. Example: a 6-month stay with a $500/month discount that ends after 3 months will be charged back $500 × 3 = $1,500.

Pay Monthly Stays

Upon modification, the guest is responsible for settling all outstanding invoices for the remaining stay duration, and must continue to follow the billing schedule and payment due dates set for the stay.

Paid in Full Stays

Your prepaid balance will first be applied toward any outstanding charges. Please note that credit card processing fees are deducted from this balance and are non-refundable. Any remaining balance will be returned as Anyplace credits or refunded to your original payment method.

For Bookings in New York State, New York City, and Jersey City

If a confirmed booking is shortened and the revised length of stay falls below a tax threshold, the guest will become responsible for any additional taxes applicable to the new length of stay. These taxes will be added to future invoices. For invoices already paid, Anyplace will issue an additional invoice to collect the outstanding tax amount. Tax rates will be applied retroactively based on the final duration of the stay.

Cancellation of Extensions

You are eligible to cancel your extension within 24 hours of extending your stay with written communication to reservation@anyplace.com. All extensions cancelled within 24 hours are subject to a full refund. All cancellations after 24 hours of making changes during your stay are non-cancellable. You will be responsible for payment through your move-out date.

Unit Switches

Unit switches are not allowed. If you wish to move to another unit during your stay, please send your early termination notice and proceed with a new reservation.
