Anyplace Content Policy

This Anyplace Content Policy (hereinafter referred to as the
“Content Policy”) applies to all posting, uploading, publishing, submitting or transmitting of information to the Site or the Services by Members and Accommodation owners, our operators, or other affiliated persons (collectively,
Capitalized terms that are not defined in this Content Policy have the meanings defined in the Anyplace Terms of Service (the “ToS”) which can be found at
General Content Policy
Users are prohibited from posting, uploading, publishing, submitting or transmitting the following content to the Site or the Services under any circumstances:
a. Content which (i) infringes, misappropriates, or violates a third party’s patents, copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, moral rights or other intellectual property rights, or rights of publicity or privacy; (ii) violates, or encourages any conduct that would violate, any applicable law or regulation or would give rise to civil liability; (iii) is fraudulent, false, misleading or deceptive; (iv) is defamatory, obscene, pornographic, vulgar or offensive; (v) promotes discrimination, bigotry, racism, hatred, harassment or harm against any individual or group; (f) is violent or threatening or promotes violence or actions that are threatening to any other person; or (g) promotes illegal or harmful activities or substances;
b. Content created for purposes which we determine is not relevant to our business. For example, we prohibit (i) advertisement or other commercial content which is not related to Accommodations or Services, including company logos, links, or company names and (ii) content created solely for the purpose of political campaign;
c. Unsolicited commercial email (spam), unwanted contact, or content that is shared repeatedly in a disruptive manner;
d. Attempts to impersonate another person, account, or entity;
e. Content that includes another person’s or entity’s private or confidential information including, without limitation, photographs of others without their permission, personal contact information or credit, debit, calling card, or account numbers; and
f. Content with words indicating extortion.
Each User, by posting, uploading, publishing, submitting, or transmitting content to the Site or the Services, represents and warrants that neither such User’s posting, uploading, publication, submission or transmittal of such content or Anyplace’s use of such content (or any portion thereof) on, through or by means of the Site or the Services will infringe, misappropriate or violate a third party’s patent, copyright, trademark, trade secret, moral rights or other proprietary or intellectual property rights, or rights of publicity or privacy, or result in the violation of any applicable law or
Review and Response Specific Policies
Because reviews and responses should be unbiased and relevant, all reviews and responses shall also adhere to the following special rules:
a. Individuals or entities who own, operate or are affiliated with an Accommodation may not post reviews pertaining to their own Accommodation nor shall they post reviews or responses pertaining to their competitors’ Accommodations.
b. Guests may not post reviews or responses which:
・use the threat of negative reviews against Accommodation owners, operators or other affiliated persons to manipulate a desired outcome;
・consist of non-relevant or mostly irrelevant information;
・comment on a person’s social, political or religious views;
・comment on circumstances entirely outside of the control of owners, operators or other affiliated persons of an Accommodation, unless reasonable to assist Members to make informed booking decisions;
・comment on services neither related to Anyplace or Services unless reasonable to assist Members to make informed booking decisions;
・pertain to past reservations having no relevance with the booking which is the subject of the review.
c. Accommodation owners, operators or other affiliated persons may not:
・provide compensation or other incentives to Guests in exchange for positive reviews;
・accept fake reservations in exchange for positive reviews;
・use a second account to leave a review of his/her Accommodation; or
・coordinate with a third party to obtain positive reviews.
The titles of Listings may not contain information irrelevant to the Accommodation and may not include symbols or emojis.
Listings shall not include fraudulent, false, misleading, or deceptive information.
Limitation of Liability
Anyplace shall have no liability with respect to any loss or damage caused to a User or a third party by the posting, uploading, publishing, submitting, or transmitting of any content to the Site or the Services.
Violations of this Content Policy
Anyplace reserves the right to remove any content, in whole or in part, for the violation of this Content Policy, or for any other reason at its sole and absolute discretion. In the event of repeated or severe violation, Anyplace reserves the right to suspend or permanently deactivate the accounts in question.
Reports of Violation
In the event that one finds reviews in conflict with this Content Policy or believes that the content of a review is untrue, he/she may report by contacting Anyplace at the e-mail address set forth below.
