Since we are a two-sided marketplace, we do screening because we’d like the property side to be able to safely accept guests through our platform. Properties outside of Anyplace that accept bookings longer than 30 days without screening run the risk that they may not receive payment for the following month.

Through screening, we are able to handle hotels, vacation rentals, and other properties that have never been on the market for stays longer than 30 days. It's up to our property partners to decide whether to screen or not, so if they don’t need to screen and you've never booked with Anyplace, we don’t screen you. Properties that require screening are concentrated in the U.S. Screening involves a soft background check (no hard inquiries).
